LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 - is a professionally-trained American basketball star. He is known for his role as King James and is considered to be among the greatest basketball players of all time. James was awarded four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs, three All-Star MVPs as well as two Olympic medals. James has scored the most points during the playoffs, the second most career points and is the seventh player with the most assists in his career. He was named as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected for the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. As a total, James has played in 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. The streak spans eight consecutive years from 2011 to 2018. James was picked as a part of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player in history to earn more than 10,000 career points. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his hometown in Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a potential NBA star. He was a pre-profession player and picked to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in 2003's NBA draft. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie of the Year, he quickly established himself as a premier player within the NBA winning the NBA's MVP award both in 2009 and 2010. James, who failed to take home the title in Cleveland in 2010, was released as a free agent and joined his team the Miami Heat. This was disclosed as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a player who was a free agent history.
