Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actress as well as a performer. Her parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and from Huntington Woods Michigan. Her mother is Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen developed a talent to perform on a young stage. When she was in 1992, she went to her very first audition. She got a part of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother as an agent when she was just 13 years old. Then, she was cast for newspaper ads and commercials on TV. Bell also began taking private acting classes at the age of 13. Bell played an uncredited part of Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and music groups of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the leading Dorothy part. Bell attended the Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater within New York City. Bell dropped out of her studies in 2001, and took on the part of Becky, a character from Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credits in Pootie Tang in 2001. However, her scene it was cut and her appearance only appears in the final credits. Bell played part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
