Cindy Crawford

Cynthia Ann Crawford was born 20th February 1966. She is an American model, actress and a TV host. Through the 1990s and the 1980s she was among the most popular supermodels , and an omnipresent presence on magazine covers and runways as well as on fashion-related campaigns. In the years following, she expanded her acting career and ventured into business. In her sophomore year at high school, she received an email from a local store concerning modeling which she later discovered was a prank by two students. The following year, another company hired a number of high school students and, in particular Crawford, to work for them (including an event for fashion). Roger Legel, a local photographer, approached Crawford to take her picture. He was responsible for photographing another college girl in DeKalb Nite Weekly. Crawford became the first photo shoot. [9] She was encouraged to pursue modeling by the favorable feedback and photos she received. She initially worked for an agency of a smaller size, but was acquired by Elite Model Management shortly after she signed. She entered Elite's Look of the Year contest in 1983 at age 17 and was able to make it to the finals at the national level.
