Richards was born in Penarth (Wales). She was educated at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She presented the Welsh language teen magazine show Mosgito for S4C and was featured in short films prior to getting roles of significant importance in BBC TV programmes Crash and Being Human. Two years ago she was given the role of an executive secretary who had an exaggerated English accent in the TV show Breaking In. 3. In January 2012 , she appeared as a regular Breaking In host. She co-starred with the role of Sharon in Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego's horror film Open Grave, alongside Sharlto Copley. From 2014 until 2019she portrayed Barbara Kean in the FOX Television series Gotham. [7] She was the director of "The Trial of Jim Gordon" The fifth season's episode, which first aired on the 7th of March in 2019. [1][8The 8 FOX reports that she'll be playing with Max Brown (and John Hurt) in an unreleased independent film titled That Good Night. She was also in The Quiet Ones, Open Grave, and in television, Being Human in the UK. She is a resident of New York, Los Angeles and London.
